Volunteers Needed

The 2011 Cornhusker State Games Jiu-Jitsu Tournament is just around the corner, Sunday, July 24th. I'm extremely excited about this year's competition. Our numbers are looking good, and if they keep coming in, we'll have more competitors than we had last year. Thanks to our resident computer guru, Dave Williss, we'll be using a state of the art tournament management software program. As super cool as the computer program is to me, the thing that really has me excited is our new venue. We'll be hosting the event at Waverly High School. This will allow us to have four mats running at the same time, air conditioning, concessions, and bleacher seating.

To manage all of this, I'm reaching out to our dojo members and family members to help us pull off this event. We'll need volunteers for the positions of Score/Time Keepers, and to help set-up and tear-down.

If you're available to help out, please shoot me an email to let me know.
