New class time for Women's Jiu-Jitsu

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since we started the women-only Jiu-Jitsu class. In that time we have gained a total of (drum roll please) ZERO new students! While Skyler and I do enjoy having our very own personal Jiu-Jitsu teacher, Amy’s vast knowledge deserves to be shared with more women. So, if anyone has any thoughts on how to grow the class, we would be glad to hear them. Starting on 3-28-10 the class will be moving to Sundays at 1:00pm, so hopefully that will be a more convenient time, and we will have so many students that we will have to break out extra mats! A girl can dream, right?

Come on ladies, doesn't this look like fun?

Sounds great Gina! We will get the mat clean for you! I have been trying to get my wife in to go to class for a long time, but the class time never really worked for her. Sundays typically are really relaxed for us, so she was all ears when I told her about this time. Hope you can have one more in class very soon!

That would be very cool Aaron. I can speak from experience that doing martial arts with your family makes it even better :) Btw, don't worry about cleaning the mat, because I will probably just bleed on it anyway.

Keep at it,Gina. You'll get more students in time. You may be teaching the class some day.

I think my wife would appreciate a women's class where we train in San Diego (Gracie Barra), but there's just not enough women. Too bad. Hopefully that's something that will be implemented in the near future as more women sign up. My daughter only trained for 7 months or so before she dropped. I'm betting she would've appreciated it as well. At least my son and I are still going strong!
