Bummer, I'll be in Denver for the UFC event that weekend...

That is a bummer, but I'm glad you get to go to a live UFC. I went to one in Vegas a few years ago and it was quite an experience.

I'm determined to make the next highlight reel. Is it open to only our dojo?

This competiton is open to all who want to compete, no matter if they're from our school or not. Since this is our first open tournament, I think it would be a good one for first time competitors to get their feet wet and test their skills. I'm hoping that we get entries from all of the local schools and those in the surrounding area.

Love the poster, even though I look like I am getting owned in the armbar by Justin. I am looking very forward to this again! I will help out any way I can, I know from the first one if you are planning on competing, it does get a little hard to help with the matches once your divisions start, but any help is greatly appreciated.

I figured you would be a good sport about that Aaron. For the record everyone, Aaron did NOT get submitted by that armbar :)

Cesar, all ages are welcome. At the top of the blog (under the picture) there's a link to "Tournament Registration." It has all the age divisions.
