The key to Jiu-Jitsu is learning how to move yourself around your opponent. Do not focus on trying to move the mountain. Go around the mountain.
I know I've posted this video before, but it's an excellent example of flowing by Marcello C. Monteiro and Ricardo De La Riva.

how dost thou move the mountain that is thyself?
A wise man once said, "Be like water, my friend."
I want to be like water! Unfortunately, I am more like a ton of bricks! Oh well. In time, maybe. ;)
Another wise man once said "I'll stand right next to a mountain, and chop it down with the edge of my hand." That's what we do in Karate.
They are very fluid. But even more amazing is all the techniques they go through as they flow. How many years does it take to develop a arsenal like that?
