Today is The Jiu-Jitsu Fighter Blog's 1st Anniversary. This will be the 308th post since we first got started. There has been about 53,400 visits with about 160 visitors per day. I've had a good time with the blog and hope it continues to keep people's interest. Thank you to everyone who has helped to keep the blog going, and thank you to the loyal readers.I just got back from the Cornhusker State Games (CSG) Judo competition that was held at Roseberry's Martial Arts Center. I was pulling double duty as the official videographer and medic. For some reason the CSG's medic never showed up. Two of the competitors bonked heads during a match, so I was put to work tending to the gashes on their heads.
For some reason this year's turnout wasn't as big as in the past. The upside was that the tournament didn't last all day. The downside was that a lot of the brackets had to be combined and several competitors only had to do an exhibition match because there wasn't anyone for them to compete against.
This afternoon, I'll be working on putting together a highlight video of the competition.

The family and I went down for about an hour to the CSG Tourney, all competitors were great. I was also excited to see Shihan in action. He makes it seem so effortless, which I am sure comes with time and a ton of effort!
Congrats on your first year! Keep it up!
Thank you, Caleb.
