Von Flue Choke

Since we've been working on the Darce Choke, and different variations of it, I thought this choke would fit in nicely with the theme.

I have seen the breakdown on another site and really the magic happens when you take them down and establish a great side control. It goes on extrememly fast and is effective because the guy on the bottom is so caught up in the hold that he realizes way too late that his lights are going out. Great clip!

I didn't realize they were opening a 10th PJJ in Omaha. I don't think any of my students have checked it out, but I'll let them know. I did some checking on-line and saw that it's being hosted at S.I.M.S. Martial Arts Academy, but I couldn't tell if it was still "coming soon" or if they're actually having classes now. It should be a great addition to BJJ in the Midwest.
