Nice Armbar, Ken!

Our very own, Ken Haddix, put on an excellent showing at the last Judo tournament. I'm surprised Sensei David didn't warn you for illegal enrty into mat work.

thanks for the post, Conan. I finally have video of myself on your blog. My life is complete! Everything is downhill from here. Please don't put up my last match of the day. I was caught in a pin I couldn't get out of. It was embarassing. How about that redbelt I was wearing?

I watched this video several times because I was impressed with your dominating performance. I watched the other one several times to analyze what happened. No need to feel bad about it. We can easily bring you up to speed on escaping.

Now that your life's complete, maybe you can slow down on your quest to becoming the ultimate human weapon.

Ken is indeed a human weapon.

I was wondering about that red belt myself. I knew you were good but I didn't know you were grand master good. Now I suddenly don't feel so bad about tapping out to you...
Oh yeah, nice work, too. It was clear who was better at the ne waza from the minute the video started.

Ken's quest is not to become the ultimate human weapon, it's to become Batman! Since his Jiu-Jitsu is already way better than Bruce Wayne's, and he's trained in at least 4 different martial arts, don't be surprised if he's wearing a cape the next time you see him.

This has to be the longest I have ever seen a Judo match on the ground. Great job pushing the pace and running with it Ken. Beautiful armbar!

thanks for the comments. I couldn't have achieved the win without Conan and my fellow students. That was my very first win in a judo competition. I think my judo needs to catch up with my jiu-jitsu.
