Since we're kind of on an old school theme here, I thought I'd throw out this demonstration video with two martial arts legends, Chuck Norris and Carlos Machado. Although I don't think Chuck would really stand a chance against Carlos in an actual Jiu-Jitsu match, it was agreed upon for this demonstration that Chuck would be the aggressor.
This may be old news for some, however here is a little history on both men. Carlos is the eldest of the five Machado brothers and a former world master's champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He and Chuck met in 1990 in Los Angeles, California where later his BJJ academy was located in the same building where Walker Texas Ranger was filmed. Carlos took part in many episodes of the show, often assisting with choreographing fight scenes with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
As best as I can determine, Chuck has studied Judo and received a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Carlos. And one more fact about Chuck Norris.
Chuck Norris grinds his coffee with his teeth and boils the water with his own rage.

Next time I come to your class can we work on the armbar at 3:30? Nice Pink Floyd in the background.
Chuck Norris’ hand is the only hand that can beat a Royal Flush.
Little known medical fact: Chuck Norris invented the Caesarean section when he roundhouse-kicked his way out of his mother's womb.
those are both pretty good, i also like: chuck norris sleeps with the light on, not because he's scared of the dark, but because the dark is scared of him.
chuck has a very slick, quick armbar! certainly a very well rounded martial artist.
"You tap or I snap!!"
Didn't Chuck first start out training under Bruce Lee? I thought so but I could be wrong. Good vid.
I've heard Chuck Nortis blows bubbles with beef jerky. Cool video.
Chuck did not start out training under Bruce Lee. He first studied a Korean martial art, Tang Soo Do, then created his own art called, Chun Kuk Do, which combines elements from every combat style he knows.
Chuck began competing in 1963. Chuck met Bruce Lee in California much later and then starred in the movie, Return of the Dragon, with Bruce Lee in 1972.
Thanks for that Conan. I didn't even know that much.
that was a funny video. I want to see Chuck do some rolling with someone. that was too choreographed. I have to give him credit for the amazing hair.
